What’s New this Fall with WWF?

Happy Fall Y’all! For those of you also in the USA, I know you’re probably reeling over the fact it’s almost Thanksgiving as we are. In more writerly news, we hope every one of you who follow our blog is participating in #NaNoWriMo19! Several of our authors are joining in on the NaNo fun this season, when we aren’t busy with real life matters, of course. At the back of our minds is also our upcoming annual group tour through Prism Book Tours.

12 Days of Fantasy for Christmas is the event that brought all of us together.

Three years ago, Jenn Silverwood and Melissa Wright were chatting about the possibility of doing a group fantasy tour with Prism host, Tressa of Wishful Endings. The idea occurred to them to reach out to authors they knew in the genre. Jenn, in particular talks about how difficult a time she had finding a similar tribe of like-minded authors. Most fantasy-minded authors of a serious nature pay dues to be part of fancier associations of course. But what about all the authors who were independently minded, the Indies and entrepreneurs?

We created We Write Fantasy not only for our little tribe but for you, readers, fans, fellow writers.

To those of you who are just now putting down words to that story that’s been stirring in your head. To everyone who dreams of one day holding their published book in their hands. This blog and this extended fantastical family is for you. Thanks to all of you who have joined us on our epic three-year mission! We look forward to welcoming authors both old and new into the fold over the coming year. Meanwhile, we’d love to share the latest from our authors. Happy reading and writing friends!
